"Excellent as always, and some new vendors alongside the old favourites, which was great. The theme was rather vague, which didn't convince me beforehand, but I think it worked on the day, and allowed many people to dress up without concerns about accuracy. Given that every event seems to have people dressed as Jack Sparrow, maybe it would work to have a pirate-themed event (mooted once in the pre-Covid past, but never run)? Or, given that every event seems to see people dressed as Musketeers, a "circa 1800" theme would allow for pirates and musketeers ;-) But the organisers are such mistresses of knowing what will work and give people a good time... As long as they continue to create environments where people wander around taking pleasure in other people's costumes, taking photos of complete strangers, and just being relaxed and happy, they are doing something unusual and good :-)"

"More food vendors would be good to give a bigger variety of choice. If it had rained, the event would not have worked. Luckily it was a lovely sunny day. It was a wonderful day and event. Will be back next year!"
