Mamakashaka and Friends
About
This winter, Mamakashaka & Friends becomes something new: a tea house for the season.
As our regular programming pauses for a Winter Break, our space transforms into In The Meantime — a warm, intentional pop-up designed for slowing down, tuning inward, and staying connected.
Rooted in ritual, rest, and reconnection, In The Meantime reimagines our venue as a soft landing for the colder months. At its heart is a seasonal tea house serving a curated menu of loose-leaf teas, ceremonial matcha, slow brew coffees, warm chai, and hot chocolate — paired with small treats and seasonal pastries.
Alongside our menu, a lighter but meaningful program invites our community to gather gently. Expect tea ceremonies, co-working café days, ambient performances, and Sunday self-care rituals — including yoga, sound therapy, and meditation. We’ll also host curated dialogues and workshops designed to spark connection, creativity, and conversation.
In keeping with this intention, In The Meantime will be operating as a dry bar for the season — making space for warm drinks, unhurried interactions, and new kinds of nourishment.
This winter, we’re embracing stillness — not as absence, but as offering.
In The Meantime is a tea house and a cultural season.
A space to gather differently.
To find warmth in the pause.
And connection in the quiet.
Join us In The Meantime.
