Many people wonder about the link between Spain and the Lipizzaner, a breed originating in what is now Slovenia.

The Lipizzaner breed has, in fact, a distinct Spanish ancestry.

Recognised for their agility, boldness, strength and beauty, the Spanish Andalusian horse was imported to Central Europe from Spain by the Hapsburgs in the 16th Century. Careful selection and breeding with other horse types yielded the magnificent Lipizzaner.

In celebration of their Spanish heritage, the South African Lipizzaners are teaming up with traditional Spanish dancers from Carli Spanish Dance Productions and one of South Africa's leading concert artists James Grace for a once in a lifetime fiesta of epic, equine proportions!

Date: Sunday 15th September

Time: 10:30-12:00 am

Ticket Prices: R200.00 pp (Adults), R150.00 pp (Pensioners & Children aged 4-12 years). Children aged 3 years and under enter for free provided they do not occupy a seat during the performance.

A Spanish feast for the senses, book early to avoid disappointment!!
