Join us for an evening of awesome local beer and excellent food and beer pairing by Roy "The Tasty One"Macaskill.

Meet the brewer, Felix, from Darling Brew and sample six of their brews including brand new styles.

New beers we will be sampling the Darling Long Claw ( Citra Dry Hopped Saison), White Bird ( White IPA), Desert Dragon ( Oat Ale) and The Grey Warlord ( Double IPA). All this with a gastronomic experience you will not forget.

Slow Beer – Lager 4%  30 IBU’s
Inspired by the Geometric Tortoise
An extreme lager with a rich golden colour. Refreshing with a real hops flavour and rounding off with a mild bitterness. A great thirst quenching beer for those long summer days.
4% alc
Paired With
Asian Riblet, Toasted Sesame Crust, Miso Glazed Tempura Prawn, Scallions

Bone Crusher – Wit Beer 5.2% 12 IBU’s
 Bottle conditioned frosted Wit Beer with a distinctive candied orange nose. Edgy and refreshing in taste with all the spicy richness and finishes with a lingering bitterness.
 Paired With
Jalapeno Popper Devilled Egg

 Long Claw – Saison, dry hopped with Citra 5.5% 40 IBU’s
 Tiny bubbles dancing on the palate bringing with them the sensation of hop bitterness whilst wafting the aroma of grapefruit, lychee and herbs through the sensory canals like a tidal wave of loveliness.  Finishing with a light lingering dry pepperiness on the tongue.
 Paired With
Smoked Salmon, roast lemon & corn chowder, toasted coconut & parmesan crisp

Black Mist – Black Ale 5% 25 IBU’s
 A brooding bottle conditioned Blacker than Black Ale which bellows out roasted beckonings. Singed grains coat the palate inviting you to take another sip.
 Paired With
Peppadew Wonton, chilli, chocolate & lime

 
Dessert Dragon – Oat Ale 5.5% 37 IBU’s
 Hop bitterness explodes on the palate, giving way to the aromats of the honey bush which almost subconcously suggests a slight sweetness rounding off the initial hop bitterness, velvety mouthfeel with medium high carbonation and a slight sourness cleansing the palate on the finish.
Paired With 
Anise & garlic mussels on the half shell, Gruberg gratin.
 
Grey Warlord – Imperial IPA 9% 62IBU’s
 Silky smooth with the perfect balance of malt and hops.
 Paired With
Carrot cake muffin, Cheesecake filling, cinnamon streusel
