Myrtle Fleming Bereavement Support Page

About

Born in Khartoum while her Scottish parents worked in the mission fields of the Nuba Mountains in Anglo Egyptian Sudan, Myrtle Fleming’s dream was to return to deepest Africa as a missionary. But it was only with the death of her 21-year old son thirty years ago that she realised her life’s purpose and mission would be in the deepest, darkest places of broken hearts.

She has since, travelled extensively, met with and spoken to many thousands of bereaved parents as well as with many others who have lost loved ones, be it spouses, family or friends. This she has done out of her understanding and compassion as a memorial to her son, knowing that in some small way she has brought a measure of comfort as she was given comfort in the early days of her grief.

We would like to honour her by supporting her mission of reaching out to people in pain and if you care to help us, we would be most grateful.
