Reaching a dream

My husband moved to Mpumalanga 10 years ago, I stayed behind in Cape Town for him toe get settled. After a year of travelling back and forth I moved as well.

Within the first month of me being in Mpumalanga my husband got retrenched. I was not working at that time as I have just arrived. He found work again 9 months later.

3 years later he got retrenched from his current company and then taken over to another with all kind of promises which didn't last long

6 years later he got retrenched again. With no severance package.

It has now been 2 years since he started his own company. The first year went okay but he could not pay himself a salary as there was not enough funds coming into the company to pay him a salary and for the company to be sustainable. He was also saving to buy a plasma machine.

With Covid-19 everything went down hill. We had to use all the savings in the company account to keep head above water and to take care of our daughter.

The point of this fundraiser is to be able to buy the plasma machine and give us and our daughter a better life.
