It’s a new year and another exciting one for Touch! In 2020, we have an incredible line-up of guests who looking forward to enhance the industry experience and take Touch to a whole new level! We are excited to dive deep inside the industry working while challenging the status quo through our Touch Practical Sessions, and what better to start off the year than to introduce our first speaker, CEO of TBWA\Hunt Lascaris, Karabo Denalane!

Karabo runs TBWA\Hunt Lascaris in Johannesburg and part of his role is to reposition the agency and make it future fit, while reclaiming the top spot locally and internationally. After three years at the helm, he oversees a restructuring of three businesses within the group with the ultimate aim of creating ideas consultancy, with Disruption at its core.

Currently, he is focusing on optimising agency output through looking at dynamic teams, digitisation, innovation and a re-focus on ‘the work’; bringing creativity to the centre of the agency’s universe.

Karabo has grown up in the advertising industry; while also having experience running an agency of his own. Karabo has also had a few stints on the client side of the industry.

He loves to travel, has a keen eye for design & art, he’s passionate about music and connecting with people and believes that having a good time should always be standard when you do the things you love.
