Joining us is the legendary Zwai Bala - among many things, an award-winning Musician, Musical Director, Composer, Singer, Songwriter, Teacher, Public Speaker and Producer. Beginning his 33-year-strong career early, as the first black member of the famed Drakensberg Boys’ Choir in 1988, he has always been a trailblazer. Following his passion for hip-hop and kwaito, he co-founded the iconic kwaito group TKZee, and followed that up with the globally-recognised family group, The Bala Brothers. We open our doors to you to hear from the great musician on how he managed to navigate success in the industry during the glory days of kwaito, what he’s achieved in the years since then, how he managed his famous R3m tax issue and so much more.
