A 7km hike that has moderate difficulty. An adventure to see nature in a different light, an exercise and a way to mingle with others.
The trail passes the Broederstroom hills and the Crocodile River. Lovely views along the trail. Birds and animals to be seen.
The current name of the trail is Africa Land trail but the trail is still commonly known by its old name.
The 'circular' trail begins at the historic Preller House at Pelindaba on the property belonging to the Atomic Energy Corporation. The walk is of average degree of difficulty and takes 3 to 4 hours when taking it more slowly.
