Described recently as the ‘doyenne of war-poet biographers’, she has written highly acclaimed lives of, among others, Siegfried Sassoon, Isaac Rosenberg, Charles Hamilton Sorley and Edward Thomas.
The First World War - with Rodney Trudgeon
A view into Wilfred Owen’s poems, with The Pity of War and Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem. This lecture will be introduced by Africa Melane, the host of Early Breakfast Show on Cape Talk and 702 and is co-hosted by Rodney Trudgeon from Fine Music Radio.
