Join Janet Farquharson for this 2 and half hour interactive & practical workshop where we will explore the fascinating subject of the Vagus Nerve.


The Vagus Nerve is the most complex of all of our nerves and is considered one of the most important elements in the parasympathetic nervous system . ( The 'rest and digest' system)

It is the longest of the 12 Cranial nerves and its' long meandering bundle of fibres link the brain stem to the heart, lungs, gut and more important organs.


We will look into the following :-


-What is the Vagus Nerve?

-Why is the Vagus Nerve important?

-What are the benefits of stimulating the Vagus Nerve?

-How can we stimulate the Vagus Nerve?


During the workshop, we will move through practical exercises connected to the Vagus Nerve such as Asana's (postures), breathwork, laughter, chanting, meditation, tapping, sound healing & deep relaxation.


Janet Farquharson is a Hatha Yoga Teacher, Sound healing therapist and freelance Tourguide. She also facilitates therapeutic drum circles, healing sound journeys and Wellness Retreats . She is passionate about the subjects of Yoga, health, wellness, healing and transformation. During her studies into the energy system of the Chakras, she began to learn about the Vagus Nerve and decided to share her findings through this workshop!
