Our country history has been narrated through music. The streets of Braamfontein have been lit up by eclectic sounds and Kitcheners has always been home to the alternative kids.
Together With Toms Music store, the second installation of live @last Thursday invites Vibrate neo jazz collectives informed by a study of greats like Standley Clarke and John Coltrane moving towards, a future harmonic balanced sound like those of Moses Molelekwa and Tutu Poeani
We welcome the beautiful sounds of Soweto based bands Children of the Sun (BANA BA Letsatsi) and UmBaqanga Weblues.
The 2nd (foyer) floor will run all night with resident DJs Plaat Japie and Jab A Jaw (Sake Of Skill), two of Johannesburg's veteran open genre selectors.
