It's not often that the South African music scene sees a band explode the way The Graeme Watkins did in 2011.

After the release of their debut album "Corridors of The Mind", the band's spacing in the South African music industry changed dramatically seeing them tour the country extensively and watching single after single dominate the charts. 2012 Saw them tour the album internationally and working with international producers on material for their follow-up album. A Soldier of One was released mid-2013 and saw the band touring extensively for the next two years. After a brief breather from recording, GWP returned to the studio in 2016, producing radio smash hits such as Love In Abundance (2016) and You Come Running (2017) A Masterpiece is a stroke of genius in a moment of madness.

So live life like a madman is Graeme's motto, and there is definitely madness incorporated into his music.

The band have been invited in some of South Africaâ's hottest festivals and events over the past 6 years. Kirstenbosch Old Mutual Encounters, SplashyFenn, Rocking The Daisies, The World Flow championships, The St Francis Ruins Fest, You Spectacular Awards, Idols SA, Mnet New year spectacular, Gary the Toothfairy Royal Variety Show, Oppikoppi, Zimfest and Joburg day. Over the past few years, the band has been nominated for multiple SAMA, MK And You Spectacular Awards. GWP was also responsible for the incredibly catchy RAMSLAM T20 anthem advertising the hugely popular cricket series, as well as the Regent Insurance " Highway Hero's" campaign with their 2016 hit, Love in Abundance.

2019 see’s the band rebranding as just Graeme Watkins, as the frontman takes full control and responsibility for the writing and composition. The new music is expected to hit the scene in September 2019, followed by a nationwide tour.
