A variety of repertoire from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Strauss, Coenie de Villiers, Piazzolla and many more will be performed by outstanding artists such as Bloemfonteinse Kinderkoor, Magdalene Minnaar, Charl du Plessis, The Soil (Heidedal) and Phezulu - The Soprano Sisters.

This concert takes place in aid of Hospice Bloemfontein, a non-profit organisation. Hospice is not a place – it is a set of services to help patients and families cope with a progressive incurable illness. The aim of Hospice Bloemfontein is to improve and maintain the quality of life of patients. This quality of life is reached through care at home, and support and advice that are provided by a team of trained workers and professionals. The team consists of a group of retired nurses, trained volunteers who are “companions” to families, a palliative doctor, counsellor, occupational therapist, pharmacist – helping individuals to live as well as possible during the last steps of their journeys. Hospice also support families after the death of a loved one.
