Women Arise Breakfast Cape Town

ABOUT

In support of 16 Days of Activism for NO violence against women and children, we are hosting a Breakfast at Barnyard Tyger Valley on the 3^rd December from 7:30 – 11am.

This event is being organized to create awareness, to educate and empower women and to raise funds for St Anne’s Home as well as a Rape Crisis Centre. 

Tracy Going, the author of the book “Brutal Legacy” and former TV and Radio Personality will be speaking at the event, sharing her story. Joy, the Executive Director of St. Anne’s and Michelle, a rape councelor will also be sharing with us. Lee, the Non-Executive Director from NICRO will also be giving a short talk on dealing with any form of harassment in the working environment, as well as a self defense talk around safety for women by C-O-B-R-A and a brief talk on Anti-Hijacking by Bronwyn.

Although the topics are tough, the breakfast will be uplifting and energetic.
