The NoFomoSapiens are back for Afrikaburn 2020 and ready to get those dust balls dancing in the original city of hardcore desert rock rabbits!

We're looking to really out-do ourselves this year and are very excited to share our larger-than-life build which will get you trembling in all the right places and bring you the perfect balance of protection from, and engagement with the clear, crisp breezes that you find only in the other-worldly Tankwa!

Please come and get involved in our effort to exchange stomping euphoria for some much-needed bank fat!

This is a Fundraiser event to help the NoFomosapiens group achieve their goal to raise enough money to complete their artwork for Afrika Burn 2020.

+-.~ WHO---------------------+

The NoFomosapiens are a group of veteran Burners, Oppikoppi dust monkeys and Mielie-pop aquanauts. We bring our skills of scouting, partying, architecture, designing, programming, networking, sewing & adulting together to bring something extra special to the rocky karoo desert.

In 2019 we came together to build our “Sweet Love Gateway” structure as homage to one of the longest-standing theme camps; the Sweet Love Cinema.

2019 has birthed next year’s artwork, “InfiniTea” which is based on and inspired by 3 beautiful concepts:

1. Infinity - Connection to the infinity symbol 8 draws from its ancient understanding as the symbol of perfection, duality and empowerment,

2. Tea - Tea represents harmony, peace, spiritual enlightenment, spiritual awakening, spiritual connection, rejuvenation, refreshment, change and contentment, and

3. Affinity – a feeling of closeness and understanding that someone has for another person because of their similar qualities, ideas, or interests.

The artwork will be built in the shape of the infinity symbol, and we will be hosting daily "high tea" parties, with all sorts of teas from around the world. Come and join us and bring along anything you’d like to include and share with your fellow burners!

Through, love, understanding and connection we have the opportunity to really make a lasting difference in the world, inside and outside the Tankwa, and we hope our artwork, performances and tea will leave a lasting impression and eventually happiness and love for all on earth!

Come and spend a day pool-side at a residential venue nestled over the rolling hills in Beulieu, to warm you up for your evening boogie. There will be mixed treats available and, as always, some delectable decibels shivering from your head to your toes!

We are blessed to be accompanied with the following wonderful WAV wizard DJs who are going out their way to help out this Fundraiser as both members and friends.
