Get ready for this year’s CityROCKtober! Do you have what it takes to compete with your friends?

This year there will be lead, boulder and top rope comps for the psyched, the strong, and the willing. Anyone is welcome to enter this climbing extravaganza with cash prizes.

The top male and female climbers will win cash prizes - R5,000 each for lead and boulder or R2,500 for being a badass Top Rope Tough Guy. That’s R25,000 cash up for grabs, plus awesome prizes for other age categories and spot prizes for spectators and competitors.

There is something for everyone! Climbing for fun? YES! Climbing because you want to be on the podium? GET your psyche on. Chilling, listening to tunes and chowing down? Bring it!

08:30 - Competitor registration

09:00 - Qualification round 1

11:00 - Qualification round 1 ends

11:30 - Qualification round 2

13:30 - Qualification round 2 ends

14:00 - Spectator competitions begin

15:00 - Juniors prize giving and finalist announcements

16:00 - Top rope and Lead Finals

18:00 - Boulder finals

20:00 - Prize giving

ENTRY TICKETS

Early bird (purchased before10 September) - R100.00 flat rate for everyone! This will give you entry into the climbing competitions, spectator comps, live music, food and drink stalls or a general climbing day pass.

General entry (purchased before 11 October) - R130.00 flat rate for everyone! This will give you entry into the climbing competitions, spectator comps, live music, food and drink stalls or a general climbing day pass.

On the day entry - R150.00 flat rate for everyone! This will give you entry into the climbing competitions, spectator comps, live music, food and drink stalls or a general climbing day pass.

All entry tickets will automatically be entered into the raffle to win cool prizes such as accommodation vouchers at Tranquilitas Adventure Farm in Waterval Boven.

**CITYROCK MEMBERS WILL STILL NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET**

**CLIMBING GEAR RENTAL IS EXCLUDED**

There will be no usual CityROCK scheduled activities (such as yoga) on the day. Bouldering will be exclusively for competitors for the day and certain high walls will be closed for the climbing competition, the remaining walls will be available for general climbing.

Everyone entering the gym for the first time will be asked to sign the appropriate Electronic Waiver Form, whether you are participating or spectating. For anyone under the age of 18 the Minor Waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
