You may have big dreams as an entrepreneur, but ultimately, it is your team who will make sure you realise your goals. In the world of entrepreneurship, the challenges of resources and time make it even more difficult to put together the ideal team.
At this entrepreneurship to the point session, our panel will look at what it takes to build and sustain your dream team.
Shawn Theunissen, Founder and Head of Property Point
With over 13 years of experience as both an Executive at Growthpoint Properties and the Founder and Head of Property Point, Shawn currently oversees a staff contingent of 14 qualified profesionals in two separate organsiations. Shawn has also been instrumental in helping entrepreneurs on the Property Point programme to navigate various challenges within their businesses including staffing and talent management.
Nonhlanhla Mayisela, CEO Izandla Property & Chairman of The Women’s Property Network
Nonhlanhla is the Chief Executive of Izandla Property, a majority black-owned property company. Nonhlanhla is also the national chair of the Women’s Property Network (WPN), an organisation that seeks to advance the equitable representation of women in the property industry.
Jonathan Cook, Founder and Chairman of African Management Initiative
Jonathan has over 25 years experience in management education, facilitation, coaching and consulting. Prior to founding AMI, Jonathan spent almost 10 years at GIBS, one of Africa’s leading Business Schools, where he served at various times as a senior lecturer, the Director of Executive Education, Academic Director, Executive Director and finally Director of the Business School until December 2013.
