FREE TEXTILE DESIGN WORKSHOPS EVERY WEDNESDAY

Every Wednesday 10am - 12:30pm

?Difficulty skill: Very Easy

* We will teach you how to design a repeat pattern with photos of items (flowers etc) that we will take at your first workshop, the repeat pattern will be taught at your second workshop the next Wednesday.

* You will do your design on paper during the workshop and we will scan, edit and print it after the workshop should you want us to print your design on fabric or want us to make something out of your printed fabric. The workshop is free, but should you want fabric printed or a product such as handbag, shoes or any other items made up, we will quote you on the cost.

* The first Wednesday you can bring fresh flowers, succulents, aloes, seeds, branches, or any other elements that you want to take photos of, then you will print the photos after the workshop on normal paper or photo paper for a higher quality image. (I will upload everyone's photos on Dropbox and share it with you to print out at Postnet or Qphoto before you come to your next workshop)

* The second Wednesday you have to bring your own high quality photos printed on A4 to make a collage for your repeat pattern, your finished collage must fit on a 29x29cm square of paper.

* Please bring scissors, paper glue & A3 sheet(s) of paper (normal drawing paper will be fine or watercolor paper if you would like to paint in between your pasted images)

I will post workshops on Facebook (www.facebook.com/dunamistextiles) and send out details to mailing list so that you know when we are doing the fresh flowers workshop and when we are doing the pattern repeat workshop.
