ABOUT

The Joburg Arise Adoption Conference is back for 2019 and the Arise Team are flying up to facilitate this one. The Arise Adoption Conference is designed for all current and prospective adoptive parents wanting to learn more about the core issues of adoption. It's also great for extended families and friends of adoptive families.

This year we have new content and resources, break out sessions and interactive talks as well as live testimonies from adoptive parents and an adult adoptee - so even if you've attended one of our conferences before, we'd love to host you again!

-Infertility and Adoption

-Single Parent Adoption

-The Legal Process

-Racial Identity in Transracial Adoption

A note about tickets:

-Earlybird tickets are available at R300 pp until 21 August, thereafter the full ticket price of R400 pp applies - lunch is included.

-Childcare is available at R50 per child - lunch is not included.

-Support our family strengthening programmes - a R250 donation sponsors one family through our a 7 week programme at our Family Centre in Heideveld

-Support production of a local adoption documentary - we've kick started our dream of creating a local documentary sharing stories from all members of the adoption triad in South Africa and we need your help to make this dream a reality.
