The exotic voice of culinary adventure is calling to you, beckoning you to join us for a fantastic afternoon of food and drink inspired by the magical JAPAN!

Travel & Tell allows us to share our adventures with you through a series of intimate dinners and cooking demonstrations that will transport you to another culture entirely - Italy, Spain, France, Greece or even Mexico to name a few! 

Top chef, Ollie, and his equally passionate companion, designer/ artist, Julz, have trotted to these magical spots around the globe and wish to immerse you in a themed lunch or dinner from each destination. Food, décor, drinks, and music will be carefully chosen to mimic and celebrate different foods and cultures all over the world. Let us share these stories and recipes with you in our very own South Africa.

This July, the we will focus on the fresh flavours of JAPAN. The afternoon will include a selection of spectacular welcome drinks and canapés, followed by a 5 course lunch. Join us for a cosy winter afternoon filled with a range of beautiful flavours, from steaming bowls of ramen, to sticky yakatori on the fire - it's going to be one for the books!

Ollie Swart and Julz Buchanan are the type of couple you want to be friends with: interesting, well-travelled, laid-back, funny and just about the best damn dinner party hosts you’ve ever met. By day, Ollie, who is a trained chef, cooks up a storm for a well-known Cape Town catering company, while Julz is an artist and fashion designer. Let them loose at night, however, and they team up to bring you unforgettable dinner experiences inspired by the exotic locations they’ve travelled to - Eatsplorer Magazine
