15 on Orange offers a refreshing new take on First Thursdays with a fully immersive sensory experience - The Autograph Collection - First Thursday Movie Nights.
This series of experiential First Thursdays kicked off on 6 June 2019, in collaboration with Wixworth Gin.
Guests can expect to watch their all-time favourite movies in luxurious comfort with an elegantly furnished lounge-style cinema, mouth-watering movie box meals and artfully crafted; Wixworth Gin welcome drinks. Cocoafair will be offering guests decadent hot chocolate halfway through the film. This all-inclusive sensorial experience only costs R185 per person. The Cult Classic Series commenced with Kill Bill Vol.1 on 6 June; Followed by Pulp Fiction on 4 July and 1 August will Showcase Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
Inglourious Basterds is the award-winning film by Tarantino, which might be his most entertaining one of them all, with scenes of high-tension verbal sparring and scalp-smashing mayhem, all erupting when Tarantino’s band of vigilantes (led by Brad Pitt’s drawling lieutenant Aldo Raine) gun down their German rivals in a blaze of glory. Basterds is also notable for introducing the world to Christoph Waltz, who won the Oscar for his performance as the silver-tongued sociopath Colonel Landa, one of the most compelling film villains in history. This film left a distinguished mark in Tarantino's filmography.
