Jem Atkins
After a decade in the comedy and corporate entertainment industry, Jem Atkins has garnered a reputation as a highly talented Professional MC and Corporate Comedy Entertainer, and indeed one of the funniest comedians in South Africa.
His performances are loaded with high-energy, intelligent observations, and dotted with hilarious antics and impressions.
His sharp-witted humor and honesty make for highly memorable audience interactions as he artfully skirts the line between funny and edgy.
The man is very entertaining!
He has also toured extensively and shared the comedy stage with SA’s best.
Atkins is also an accomplished actor, having starred in dozens of stage productions from the tender age of 13, and more recently in adverts for YouTube and TV.
He is currently building his own YouTube comedy channel show (‘Jem and Mo Show’).
In 2012, he wrote, directed and performed his highly successful debut one-man show – ‘Single Dad’
In April, 2014, he followed this up with the highly successful sequel - ‘Single Dad II’, selling out the run and receiving excellent reviews!
