ABOUT
A showcase of South Africa’s best squash players and special guest, 3x WORLD OPEN CHAMPION and World #1, a squash Legend, Nick Matthew from England. Played at Fish Hoek Squash Club where the player’s speed, flair, fitness and talents can be seen from all angles. Followed by a socializing bring and braai with the local players and supporters from the club.
The main event (at 8pm) will be an exhibition match between:
Nick Matthew (aka the Wolf)
- 3 x World Champion
- Highest Rank PSA #1
- 3 x Commonwealth gold medalist
vs
Rodney Durbach (local Squash hero)
- Highest Rank PSA #23
- Commonwealth games bronze medalist
- FHSC club professional
Note: Rodney has previously beaten Nick, so we are expecting competition level squash!
Additional first league talent with be on display where the local 1st League Fish Hoek heros will take on squash professionals JP Brits & Christo Potgieter in an exhibition match to be remembered. The afternoon will also include some squash development coaching to help develop and inspire our youth.
