Footloose follows the journey of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago. He and his father move to the small town of Bomont after his mother abandons them. Upon arriving in Bomont, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the town, including the town’s Reverend. Due to a tragic accident Reverend Shaw has convinced the town to outlaw dancing, which Ren finds preposterous. With the help of the Reverend’s daughter Ariel, and a country bumpkin who becomes his best friend, Ren convinces the Reverend to let the teenagers have a dance, and in the process helps the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all.

Footloose is a fun-filled journey of growth, healing, and humour - with loads of dancing thrown in!
