17 SEPT 2019 - INDABA - FREE

12:00 to 17:00

Expect to hear from Industry leaders like Thandi Orleyn and Tracey Swanepoel, to name but a few! (Visit the Speakers tab for more information on our speakers.)

The Indaba will be opened by a keynote address from noted business woman and attorney, Thandi Orleyn, who will be setting the stage for the day by giving an overview of today's workplace and the challenges employers face in the 21st Century. Although her name is often seen to be synonymous with the business world, owing to her prolific work on the boards of various companies, Thandi Orleyn is perhaps best known for her work as an advocate of human rights and women's empowerment.

Following Ms Orleyn's keynote you can choose between four sessions with expert practitioners, as well as a Q&A panel and the chance to book one-on-one time with industry leaders.

The day provides a unique opportunity for professionals - both new to the theme and practice - or those who want to build upon their existing knowledge and confidence about employee engagement and why it is essential for future-proofing your organisation’s success.

Based on award-winning case studies and keynotes from leaders in their field, the conference is for board members, excos and senior leaders across every area of business who believe that engagement is a key building block for successful organisations.

From the neuro-science behind people-centric organisations to new tools for communicating the journey and achieving business imperatives, the day is packed full of new insights and shared knowledge from across the continent.

Our four themes are cross-cutting, mixing strategy with real-life examples of success, and inspiring practices which any leader can use to influence the rate of engagement in your business. We look at the trends, tech, and the trust needed to achieve outstanding results for any organisation.
