Join us for an inspiring evening with one of South Africa’s most remarkable voices, Prof. Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela—world-renowned academic, author, and recipient of the 2024 Templeton Prize.
In conversation with Paul van Zyl, co-founder of The Conduit and fellow South African, Prof. Pumla will share insights from her extraordinary career dedicated to healing, justice, and human dignity. Her pioneering work on trauma, forgiveness, and reconciliation has influenced global debates, from post-apartheid South Africa to societies worldwide still grappling with histories of violence.
This evening is not only a chance to hear from an internationally celebrated thought leader, but also to celebrate a Matie whose scholarship and humanity continue to shape the next generation at Stellenbosch University.
