A rare interfaith gathering bringing together diverse religious communities with world-renowned meditation master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche at St. George’s Cathedral, the sacred space that embodies Cape Town’s spirit of reconciliation.

The event aspires to connect key figures from Cape Town’s diverse religious communities with the Tibetan Buddhist master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche in an evening of prayer, teaching, meditation, music, and offerings of light. The intention is to manifest the pure, unbiased, limitless compassion that our world so urgently needs—beyond borders, beyond traditions, beyond sects, beyond limit.

The event will bring together an extraordinary gathering of spiritual leaders and practitioners representing the rich diversity of South Africa’s religious landscape, including Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, and African traditional religious traditions.
