ECO- PRINTING WORKSHOP

Join multi-disciplinary Artist Nastasha Sale for an immersive eco-printing experience, in collaboration with Design Afrika.

Eco-printing is the fascinating process of obtaining a contact print from tannin-rich plants onto fabric through steaming and using mordants.

Come enjoy a cosy morning immersed in the gorgeously unique old church hall in Woodstock Cape Town, that has become the home of Design Afrika.

Where you will be welcomed and introduced to the magical practice of eco-printing.

We will be printing a raw silk scarf you will learn about what plants can give you prints, and take home a workbook for when you want to return to your instructions on how to eco-print at home.

This is a family-friendly event, and you don't need any artistic ability, just a curiosity for the magic of plants.

Your ticket includes a light lunch and beverages.
