About Nonto
Nonto’s first introduction into the industry was through her first EP titled Looking Ahead released in 2015. The single from her EP called Picture Perfect produced by 37mph got love from Mzansi’s audience. In 2019, she released an 11-track album called Colourful - which played with new wave RNB inspirations, Neo Soul and Deep House sounds that connect with the soul. Influenced by most things candid, sweet and prickly, she worked with producer Kill3r-K. Pulling up in 2024! Nonto is releasing new music with producer Ootz Tha Afronaut, and will be giving us a sneak peak of what to expect this year! Toying with RNB sounds with a mix of Hip-Hop and Neo soul, “Akekho” is her latest single released in February 2024 where she explores the polar worlds of love and vulnerability.
About Cxrbon Blxque
Cxrbon Blxque is a South African Afro-fusion band, founded in 2010, their sound combines a variety of jazz idioms, world music, and funk. They tastefully fuse today's popular sounds with numerous iconic catalogs, aiming to take the audience through an musical journey of note. The band consists of five phenomenal musicians, specifically Mnqobi Mazibuko on Drums, Leroy Ledwaba on Keys, Mano Semeli on Bass Guitar, George “McGee" on DJ &Effects, and Fentshe Nkabinde on Vocals. Dubbed musical loop therapists, the collective brings to the table over 18 years of experience.
