As we celebrate three decades of democracy in South Africa, the imperative to protect and enhance our democratic freedoms against disinformation and hate speech is more pressing than ever. "Democracy in Dialogue: Mobilising Against Disinformation and Hate in the build-up to the 2024 Elections" is a call to action for those committed to preserving truth, justice, and inclusivity in our society. This workshop, hosted in collaboration with frontline organizations in the fight for human rights and democracy, serves as a beacon for all who value our democratic ethos to come together and forge a path forward.
