Gathering to Worship

ABOUT

As the Israelites of old gathered to bring an offering unto the Lord, so we will gather and prepare our hearts to bring an offering of worship.  

This is not a time that we put aside for “soaking, “receiving” or “spiritual warfare”, but rather to give thanks and bring Worship to the Lord.  

This is the offering of our lips.   

 Worshipping together with     

      One heart,  

      One voice, 

    unto One God, 

 (Our Lord and Saviour)

When they said, “Let’s go to the house of GOD,” my heart leaped for joy. And now we’re here, O Jerusalem, inside Jerusalem’s walls!

Deuteronomy 26:10-11

…and you shall set it down before the LORD your God and worship before the LORD your God. And you shall rejoice in all the good that the LORD your God has given to you and to your house….

1 Chronicles 16:29-31

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;

bring an offering and come before him!

Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;

tremble before him, all the earth;

yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice,

and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”
