ABOUT
The Swiss Hotel School 2nd year hospitality students are hosting a Charity Golf Day on the 17th of May at the Wanderers Golf Club as part of their supervisory practical module.
The profits of the event will be split equally between the St Laurence Children's Haven and the Swiss Hotel School Bursary Fund. St Laurence is based in Roodepoort and helps underprivileged and vulnerable children and provides them with educational programmes, food and shelter.
The aim of St Laurence Children's Haven is to reunite children with their parents once it has been established that they are able to provide a safe and healthy home for them. The Swiss Hotel School Bursary Fund was set up to help students in crisis and to assist financially.
There will be a prize giving for the best performing golfers on the day, as well as an auction and dinner, selling hospitality and golf related experiences.
