Diary of a Madman

Fri Jun 7, 20:00 - Sat Jun 8, 19:45

The Masque Theatre

ABOUT

Staging Nikolai Gogol's Diary of A Madman brings to light a classical work which resonates big time in any country. Perhaps even more so in our beloved South Africa where the 'normal' citizens are struggling with poverty, corruption and general elections.

'Diary' allows us a bit of comic respite for the protagonist is able to stay sane through his madness. Although Bizo Maxegwana is no stranger to the Masque Theatre this is his first professional production. He will bring a refreshing take to this classical work with his own acting style.

It has been suggested you keep your eyes on this young thespian with his velvet voice and magnificent presence.

Diary of a Madman is directed by David Muller.
