ABOUT

there is a meeting at sea,

all that has been buried yearns to step on the shore of your face.

there is no more room left to keep them here -

the tears...

this is an open mic poetry event brought to you by Thandiwe Nqanda, an author and performance poet.

the theme is based on the art of mending - with reference to the process through words of poetry.

after all is said and done….

take your hands and cover your face

summon your knees to the ground,

go beneath,

go deeper

go lower...

draw your breath and go lower today.
