BAI Heatseekers is a multi-disciplinary festival displaying trailblazing artistry growing within the digital film & youth entertainment space. The festival will be an immersion of exciting live entertainment, singular film and web-series as well as engaging workshops, talks and live podcasts from bold creative practitioners making space within the film entertainment industry.

Moremi has a near-decade’s worth experience working as a commissioning editor and content specialist in the space of reality and entertainment for various TV channels. 

• A live discussion on The Legal Ramifications of AI within the South African Creative Space with Kevin Smith

Following his riveting discussion with All That Yazz on Contractual Law & IP at BAI’s 2022 Showcase, Kevin Smith returns for another legal-focused industry talk. The venerated lawyer and artist’s discussion will be focused on Artificial Intelligence from exploring how AI works from a legal perspective to understanding what legislative frameworks exists for AI practices within the South African space.

• An open discussion on The Necessity of Business Administration (SARS and Accounting Compliance) with Tax and Legal Practictioners

Charne Shodries & Mpho Matholeni will be joining us for a discussion on the Necessity of Good Administration that will focus on tools that will help businesses develop healthy practices as they grow.
