Knowledge in People : Learning Festival is an intergenerational gathering which brings together “thinker-doers” from around South Africa who are active in challenging the monopoly of factory-schooling and monoculture, and nurturing diverse learning communities, vernacular traditions, intercultural dialogues, ecological sustainable living, decolonization and Ubuntu.

Knowledge in People : Learning Festival is a Festival Rooted in the Culture of Community Learning , This invitation looks to promote learning throughout life for all and build community, social capital and identity.

We are inviting all alternative educators, home schoolers, unschoolers, world schoolers, farmers, Mamas, Gogos cultural creatives, artists, upcyclers designers, activists, healers, organic farmers, eco-architects, spiritual explorers, giftivists and community-builders, grandmothers, social entrepreneurs, ecologists, cooks and crazies, walkouts, etc. to co-create a learning community festival
