ABOUT

Knit a miniature version of a Beanie and learn all the stitches and steps needed to knit a Reversible Honeycomb Brioche Beanie.

Learn to:




  •  Cast on for double knitting using the 2-colour Italian/invisible cast on in a stress-free way.
  • Knit a brim in the easiest form of double knitting i.e. reverse stockinette.
  • Transition into reversible honeycomb brioche (i.e. resultant fabric looks identical on both sides – but in different colours – provided you are knitting with 2 yarns in different colours.).
  • Knit the body of the beanie in reversible honeycomb brioche.
  • Work decreases in reversible honeycomb brioche for the crown of the beanie.
  • Close the crown so that it has a neat finish on both sides of the beanie.

 

What to bring:





  • 4mm 80cm circular needles
  • 2 cable needles

All other materials will be provided

Advanced knitting skills required.
