An easy adventure hike finished with a lovely sunset picnic!

Regular hiker: Grade 1

Casual hiker: Grade 2

Distance: appr. 5km (shorter -2km- option for the elderly and for families with toddlers)

Duration: 2-3 hours

Cost: R169pp (U13-R99pp)

This fee includes entry fee to Alverstone Wildlife Park

What to bring:

snacks, water or cold drinks, backpack.

Some snacks and drinks for the picnic. Piicnic blankets are provided on first come first served basis.

Walking shoes/takkies with good grip is a must! No flat shoes allowed! A hiking stick is recommended!

Bookings STRICTLY via Quicket.

If event is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be re-scheduled and new date will be given.

Please also note that we need min 10 confirmed bookings to go ahead with this event.. If quota is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
