ABOUT
In this 80min cabaret, pianist and storyteller Christof Berg, takes the audience on an epic journey. From a small boy nurtured by a wise old Sotho woman on a mystical salt farm in the Freestate to an enchanting Bohemian world in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. He embarks on journeys to distant lands, in search of the place where the sun pours down like golden waterfalls. The show is performed in a combination of English, Afrikaans and Sotho.

In hierdie 80min Kabaret, neem pianis en storieverteller Christof Berg, die gehoor op n unieke reis wat begin by n klein seuntjie wat grootword op n mistieke soutplaas in die Vrystaat na n betowerende Boheemse gemeenskap in die Kaap. Musiek lei hom na ver-werelde. Hy is vasbeslote om die onbereikbare land te vind waar die son soos riviere vloei, daai plek van goue watervalle. Die vertoning is in n kombinasie van Engels, Afrikaans en Sotho.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE MASQUE:
* You are welcome to take your food and drink into the theatre, but please be sure to return your glass to the bar afterwards.
* Strict admittance policy - no entry after the show start time. Latecomers will be admitted entry at intermission.
* Children are not permitted to sit on laps.
* No flash photography or videography is allowed.
*The Masque Theatre provides secure parking at our designated parking lot, conveniently located just 50 meters past the theatre. Please note that our parking lot closes 30 minutes after the end of the show.
