WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?

There is a special and renewed energy that accompanies the start of a new year and we want to make sure that 2024 is your best yet! With this in mind, Suits & Sneakers is hosting our 6th edition of RISE where where we quiz some really smart people on the tips and tricks we can use to knock 2024 out of the park!

More than anything, we want to ignite a conversation around growth, and we also want to facilitate human connection by gathering like-minded individuals who want to grow personally and professionally.

RISE will be taking place on the evening of Tuesday, 30 January 2024 at The Tryst. We will also be streaming the event on the night for those that aren't based in Joburg or South Africa.

WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS AND WHAT WILL THEY BE SPEAKING ABOUT?

At the beginning of every year when we host RISE, we always try focus on topics that are incredibly relevant at the time. This year, we have asked Rich Mulholland to join us on stage to present his brand new talk called "Relentless Relevance - How the most interesting individuals and institutions thrive in the face of uncertainty."

Mark Sham will also be joined by a few other guests on stage in order to quiz them on how to get the best out of 2024. Names to be announced shortly.

WHO IS RICH MULHOLLAND?

Having spoken in over 40 countries on six continents, rock and roll roadie turned entrepreneur Rich Mulholland knows first-hand the impact that eloquent and persuasive leadership can make. That’s why he and his team work with executives and speakers around the world, helping them be more confident, more compelling, and more authoritative. He’s the founder of persuasion powerhouse Missing Link and has written three books; Legacide, Boredom Slayer, and his latest; Here Be Dragons. He was voted top 40 under 40 (sadly, though, he’s no longer under 40), and top 300 South Africans to take to lunch. Mostly though he’s a husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.
