ABOUT
Rhythm N Poetry is a series of poetry and live music shows that seek to analyze how rhythm is used in both music and poetry to convey meaning and emotion. This involves examining the different types of rhythms used in both art forms, such as meter, tempo, and cadence, and exploring how they are employed to create specific effects. The event will feature Luxolo Luxolo,Fikile Fifi,Dejavu and UJO.The event seeks to explore ways in which music and poetry are used together, such as in spoken word performances or in hip-hop music. The project examines the different techniques used by artists to blend the two art forms and create a cohesive and meaningful message. Rhythm N Poetry has the potential to explore the rich and complex relationship between music and poetry, and involves a wide range of interdisciplinary research and analysis.
