This is an exclusive invitation to 100 runners only. We are asking you to lace up and run for a reason in aid of Vrygrond people and their pets. It's more a run than a race but if you want to kick into 5th gear and do a personal best, we won't stop you. The run takes place on Sunday 1 October 2023 from 6am. The starting point is the lighthouse at Fish Hoek Beach and the scenic route takes you all along the coast towards Fisherman's beach, which is about 1km past Simon's town country club and back. Water stations will be available every 4 km's. If you would like to participate but the full distance is too far, you will be allowed to run in a relay team of 2 x 10km or 3 x 7km or even 4 x 5km. Entry fee is R275 per person and includes refreshments at the various stations, a branded race t-shirt and a breakfast roll and coffee at the end of the run. By signing up, you agree to personally raise a minimum of R1000 towards our overall goal of R100 000. The fundraising platforms will be provided. All you need to do is rally your friends and family to support you.
