ABOUT

Dawjee Trio is a momentary portal of sonic cultural dialogue that makes space for participants to explore their inner, outer and collective beings. The ensemble, convened by Muhammad Dawjee (saxophones), sites itself in the fertile landscape of Southern African improvised music, sometimes called ‘jazz’, and journeys through striking original compositions and spirited improvisations held together by fiercely intimate interplay.

Dawjee Trio and Breezeblock Brixton invite you to ‘small talk’ at the Monthly Sunday Lunch Series on 01 October 2023.
