ABOUT
The G911 Fishing Competition is a community driven event hosted by the Umvoti Agricultural Society in order to raise funds for our local community services and security NPO Golf911. The event takes place at dams on farms surrounding Greytown in the Umvoti district. Over 65ha of water to fish, beautiful scenery, awesome prizes, and a fun time for all ages. Bass, Carp, and Barbel fishing available. Market stalls, Food, Camping and Bar Facilities available. A trail run/walk for those not wanting to fish will be hosted by Arcadia (Greytown’s home for the aged) on Saturday morning). This year 2023 the event will fall on the same day as the Rugby World Cup Final, we are going the extra mile to televise the game and offer a DJ for the evening, promising to be a great jol, so please consider staying the night and making the most of what is on offer.
