ABOUT

On 6 May 1937, the world's largest manmade flying object - the "HINDENBURG!" airship - unexpectedly exploded as she approached her landing at Lakehurst New Jersey. Oh, the Humanity! was the cry. A dirigible the size of the TITANIC steamship fell to the ground killing most of her passengers and crew and the worlds love affair with airships.

From the creator of the "TINTANIC" - the largest TITANIC model in Africa - made of "tin", comes a NEW story of triumph and tragedy! Join local South African artist Gino Hart at the South African Airways *(SAA) Museum in Germiston *(Rand Airport) for a night at the Museum experience. Meet the artists on board the famous Lebombo 747 aircraft and hear the real story behind the famous air disaster while watching spell binding footage of the "HINDENBURG!" and the model construction, see WWII artifacts and replicas and participate in a LIVE Q&A in the hanger.

*Only 50 tickets are available per event.
