Join us for the second Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Networking Breakfast of 2023.

For this event we are honoured to be joined by Jeff van Rooyen, who despite being born into poverty in Alexandra township in 1950 refused to be shackled and went on, against all odds, to graduate as a chartered accountant, start his own practice, achieve partner at Deloitte and be appointed to numerous prestigious positions, such as chief executive of the Financial Services Board, non-executive director of MTN Group, lead independent director of Pick n Pay Stores, chair of Exxaro Resources.

He is also the author of "Unshackled: My journey from the township to the boardroom".

The programme will be as follows:

08h00-08h30 - Registration and breakfast 

08h30-08h50 – Coffee table Chat - in an interactive discussion, I will ask Jeff questions about his journey as set out in his book and the lessons to be drawn from it

08h50-09h00 – Q&A

09h00-09h15 – Small Group discussions about what you learnt from the speaker and how you could apply it in your life and business

09h15-09h25 - Introductions, Tips & Links (networkers introduce what they do and can ask each other for advice, i.e. a tip, or an introduction, i.e. a link)

09h25-09h30 – Wrap-up and end.
