Reddam House Helderfontein proudly presents Fame Academy 2023. Set in a high school for the performing arts, a group of ambitious young men and women audition for coveted spots at one of the countries best Performing Arts Schools. Those who make the cut, discover that it takes a lot of hard work to become a star and sometimes difficult decisions have to be made. We follow the story of several of the students, depicting their struggles, triumphs and relationships with sincerity and dramatic effect. We see their struggles with ambition, fame, and self-confidence through the eyes of students such as Carmen, Nikki, Serena, Kristine and many more, as they explore the realities of striving for a career in showbusiness. With songs from A Chorus Line, Fame, The Greatest Showman and more, this musical revue promises to be an enjoyable evening of musical theatre fit for the whole family!
