This sassy, special & fun-filled fundraising event aim to support cancer patients who have lost their hair is scheduled to take place on 3 June 2023 at Montana High School, Worcester. The event will feature a cheese and wine, an auction, fashion show, and a special highlight where audience members will be cutting their long hair & donating the ponytail for the making of a natural human hair wig.
The event aims to raise funds to support cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatment. The funds raised will be used to provide assistance to patients who are in need of wigs or headscarves, as well as to support cancer research and patient care. A wig is truly a gift of dignity.
Guests will enjoy a cheese and wine, featuring some of the best local cheese and wine. The event will also include a fashion show by local designer, Lizelle de Villiers, as well as a charity auction where guests can bid on a variety of unique items - including fashion, jewelry, paintings, art, a round of golf at Worcester Golf Club, various holidays getaways, a photo shoot with renown Cape Town photographer, Fanie Nel, various health & beauty pamper vouchers and so much more.
For those feeling daring, the live haircut will be a unique opportunity to donate their hair for a good cause. If they can donate a minimum of 25cm, they will be invited to sit in the hairdresser's chair and have their hair cut to support cancer patients.
Main entertainment at the event will be the three fabulous singers: Vernon Barnard, David Zadia and Emil Furniss aka EFACT.
The MC for the event will be the ever popular Heinrich Gabler Mr SA 2019. Celebrity guests who will be attending the event is SuperSport & Kwêla presenter Johnny Davids & his wife Liezel, boer Niel Bruwer and his wife Chereze from 'Boer soek 'n vrou 2021', and renowned SA actor Deon Lotz.
Sussy Fund is thrilled to be hosting this special CANCERVERSARY event and we aim to continue the tradition annually. We hope to raise as much money as possible to support cancer patients. It's a great opportunity for the community to come together and make a real difference.
