Brenda formally kick-started her music career when she joined the multi- award winning gospel group “Joyous Celebration”, even writing and performing the track “Say More Jesus” on Joyous Celebration 14. Her catalogue includes working on projects, tours and DVD recordings with musical heavyweights such as Lira, Judith Sephuma and Brian Thusi to name a few.

A Best Urban Jazz and Best Female nominee at the 2016 Metro FM Music Awards, Mtambo is an extraordinary storyteller who believes in the power of music to move, inspire and entertain her fans. The sounds of African Soul and Jazz intricately weave themselves through Mtambo’s heartwarming lyrics and distinctive voice, making way for songs that both uplift and soothe.
